Destiny 2 PvE Cheats: Features and Ban Rules Explained

Searching for Destiny 2 PvE cheats usually starts with a practical question: can a tool make repeated clears easier without putting your account at risk?

The feature list answers only half of that. PvE is not exempt from Bungie’s cheating rules. We’ll explain what the main features mean, where product claims need scrutiny, and how Bungie treats automation, fireteams and unwanted rewards.

Table of Contents

What Are Destiny 2 PvE Cheats?

Destiny 2 PvE cheats are unauthorized tools intended to change aiming, visibility, movement or combat against AI-controlled enemies. The term can describe an NPC aimbot, an enemy overlay or more extensive changes to ammunition and abilities.

That makes “PvE cheat” a broad label. A tool that draws boxes around enemies does a different job from one advertised as changing movement speed. Neither description, by itself, tells you whether the tool works in a particular encounter.

It also helps to separate three questions: what a feature claims to do, what has been demonstrated, and what Bungie permits. A product page can explain the first. A current demonstration can help with the second. Neither replaces the developer’s rules.

Destiny 2 PvE Cheat Features Compared

We group the features below by the part of gameplay they target. These are descriptions of advertised functions, not independent performance tests or promises of faster clears.

Feature group Intended function What to check in a listing
NPC aimbot Automates aiming toward computer-controlled enemies NPC targeting, aim-point options and activation controls
ESP and wallhack Displays enemy information beyond ordinary visibility NPC support, distance labels and the exact entities shown
Weapon modifiers Changes advertised firing or ammunition behavior Whether recoil, spread, ammo and fire rate are separate options
Ability and respawn modifiers Changes advertised ability recharge or respawn behavior Exact supported functions and activity limitations
Movement modifiers Changes advertised movement or collision behavior Whether flyhack, speedhack and no clip are individually listed

Destiny 2 PvE Cheat Features Compared

NPC Aimbot

For a PvE reader, the relevant distinction is NPC targeting versus player targeting. A page that discusses only opposing Guardians does not establish support for AI enemies.

Our Destiny 2 aimbot page lists player and NPC targeting alongside FOV, smoothing, aim-point and hotkey controls.

FOV describes the targeting area; smoothing describes how the aim adjustment moves toward its target.

Those controls describe aiming behavior. They do not establish a guaranteed boss kill, encounter completion or reward. An aiming feature should be assessed as an aiming feature, without treating every other part of an activity as solved.

NPC ESP and Wallhack

ESP refers to extra information drawn on screen. Wallhack generally describes visibility through obstructing geometry. A listing may combine the terms, so the details matter more than the headline.

Our ESP and wallhack features include NPC visuals, distance information, 2D boxes and color controls.

Enemy markers are distinct from loot markers: NPC ESP does not automatically mean chest, resource or collectible tracking.

For example, a box around an enemy answers “where is that enemy?” It does not answer “which objective should the team complete next?” Keep that distinction in mind when reading claims about raid assistance.

Weapon, Ability and Movement Modifiers

Our published feature list includes No Recoil, No Spread and Unlimited Ammo, plus a rate-of-fire modifier and a skill-recharge modifier.

It also lists Instant Respawn, Flyhack, Speedhack and No Clip.

These names describe separate advertised functions. Instant Respawn should not be relabeled as god mode. Likewise, Flyhack is not evidence of teleport support, and No Recoil is not the same feature as an aimbot.

Treat each item as a claim to check against the current build. We are not presenting an in-game test of these functions here, and a list of menu options does not prove that every option behaves identically across activities or updates.

Can You Get Banned for PvE Cheats in Destiny 2?

Yes. Bungie’s account restrictions and banning policy covers cheats, aimbots, gameplay automation and network manipulation.

Playing solo does not create an exception.

The policy also covers automation used to bypass idle detection or earn loot, including XP and materials. An AFK farming script is therefore not outside the rules simply because it does not aim or shoot.

Enforcement type Meaning What to read
Restriction Temporary loss of access to specified activities The notice’s duration and affected activities
Account ban Permanent loss of access on the banned account The ban notice and appeal requirements
Device action Access limits applied to hardware Whether the notice identifies a device restriction or ban

Do not assume a first offense guarantees a warning. Bungie reserves permanent action for egregious first offenses as well as repeat violations.

What If Someone Else Cheats in Your Fireteam?

Bungie warns that action can extend to a cheater’s fireteam and advises leaving when you suspect cheating. Our guide to Destiny 2 ban waves covers a raid case that included beneficiaries. Intentionally benefiting from another player’s prohibited behavior is also covered.

However, unwanted rewards are not automatically proof that you knowingly participated.

In Update 9.7.0.5, released October 7, 2026, Bungie addressed a cheat that sent other players unearned rewards and XP.

It said it was taking action against malicious users while protecting innocent players who had not sought the cheats or their benefits.

That statement concerns this specific abuse. It should not be read as permission to seek cheated rewards or as a universal promise covering every fireteam situation.

Our practical advice: leave a suspicious group, keep a record of what happened, and avoid arranging another run for the same benefit. If you later need to explain the incident, a clear timeline is more useful than speculation about the other player’s software.

Accessibility Tools, Macros and Ordinary Apps

A controller adaptation, a recording application and an automated farming script should not be treated as interchangeable.

Bungie’s explanation of external accessibility aids supports tools that let players experience the intended game.

It distinguishes those uses from automating difficulty away or gaining extra aim assistance and recoil reduction. The explanation explicitly includes PvE in its enforcement scope. For AFK loops and recoil scripts specifically, see our Destiny 2 macros ban guide.

The relevant question is what the tool does. Calling something an “accessibility macro” does not establish that its use fits the policy; equally, needing an accessibility aid does not make someone a cheater.

For ordinary PC software, Bungie’s third-party application compatibility guide says using applications such as Discord and OBS is not itself grounds for a ban.

Some overlay or capture features can still be incompatible.

An overlay failing to display is therefore a compatibility issue to investigate, not evidence by itself of an account penalty.

How to Assess a PvE Cheat Claim

Before treating a feature description as a buying decision, check these points:

  1. Match the feature to your question. NPC targeting, player targeting and loot tracking are different capabilities. Look for an explicit description of the one you mean.
  2. Check the platform requirements. Use the relevant product documentation, including our Destiny 2 PC page, rather than assuming one setup applies everywhere.
  3. Ask for current evidence. A dated video with the relevant feature visible is more useful than an undated promise. It still cannot prove future reliability.
  4. Separate performance from enforcement. A demonstration can show behavior in that session. It cannot establish permission from Bungie or a future ban probability.
  5. Read the limits of security claims. “Undetected,” “streamproof” and “HWID spoofer” are not interchangeable terms or guarantees that an account will remain accessible.

Our Destiny 2 cheat package brings together NPC aimbot, ESP and combat options, with setup instructions and support. A free trial is available if you want to assess the interface and listed features before choosing a plan.

Check the current requirements and feature status first. A trial does not remove the account risks explained above.

What to Do If You Receive a Ban or Restriction

Start by saving the notice and reading what it says. Avoid guessing the penalty from a disconnect or a failed overlay.

If you believe the decision should be reviewed, use Bungie’s official ban or restriction appeal form.

Provide evidence and an accurate account of events. Bungie asks players to be honest about any software or policy violation involved.

For an unexpected-reward incident, useful context could include the activity, approximate time, what appeared on screen and whether you left. Present those as observations rather than claims about how Bungie’s detection works.

An appeal does not guarantee a response or reversal. Bungie also warns against repeated or abusive submissions. A vendor’s support team cannot substitute for that process.

Key Takeaways

  • PvE and solo play do not exempt cheats from enforcement.
  • Check exact feature descriptions instead of assuming every tool has the same capabilities.
  • Automation and knowingly benefiting from cheating can create account risk.
  • Bungie distinguished innocent recipients from malicious users in its October reward-spam fix.
  • Use Bungie’s appeal process for an enforcement dispute.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Destiny 2 PvE cheats allowed if I never play Crucible?

No. Bungie’s rules apply to PvE too. Staying out of Crucible does not grant permission to use cheats.

Is NPC aimbot the same as normal aim assist?

No. In this context, an NPC aimbot is a third-party function that automates targeting. Normal aim assistance supplied by the game is a different feature.

Does ESP automatically show every chest and collectible?

No. Enemy ESP and loot tracking are separate capabilities. Our listed NPC visuals should not be read as a promise of every kind of item marker.

Does Instant Respawn mean god mode?

No. Respawning and preventing damage are different functions. An Instant Respawn listing does not establish invulnerability.

Can AFK farming macros lead to a ban?

Yes. Bungie specifically covers automation that bypasses idle detection or earns loot. The absence of an aimbot does not settle the question.

Can an innocent player be punished for receiving unwanted rewards?

For the reward-spam issue addressed in Update 9.7.0.5, Bungie said innocent players who had not sought the cheats or benefits would not be punished. That assurance is specific to the circumstances described in the update.

Are accessibility controllers automatically prohibited?

No. Bungie supports accessibility aids used for the intended experience. Its policy distinguishes that from using tools to remove shared challenges or gain an unfair advantage.

Does “undetected” mean there is no ban risk?

No. A detection-status claim is not a guarantee about future enforcement. It also does not change whether the advertised behavior is permitted.

Will Discord or OBS get me banned?

Bungie says normal use of these applications is not itself grounds for a ban. Certain capture or overlay features can be incompatible, so follow the official compatibility guidance.

Can a Destiny 2 ban be appealed?

Yes, through Bungie’s appeal form. Submit relevant evidence, but do not expect a guaranteed reply or reversal.
